Legacy Womens Football Club is an initiative by the Football Factory  to promote women’s football in Pakistan and contribute to the development of talent for the national teams. The club aims to provide competitive football opportunities for women and girls, led by experienced players, coaches, and administrators passionate about the game and committed to promoting gender parity in sports.

More than 60 girls showed up for the try-outs out of which 18 were selected for the team. We plan to take these try-outs sessions to different cities and find talented players to develop them. Our objective is to

  • Develop and nurture football talent among women and girls in Pakistan
  • Provide a platform for competitive football and contribute to the national team

  • Promote gender parity in sports and empower women through football

The club is staffed with a certified coach, team manager, physio, helper, and CEO, who are overseeing player development, logistics, player welfare, and the strategic and financial aspects of the club. The coach is responsible for developing and implementing training programs, focusing on skill development, physical fitness, and tactical understanding. The training program is based on global standards.

The team manager works closely with the coach to handle logistics, player welfare, and travel arrangements, ensuring a smooth operation of the club. The team manager is also involved in team strategy discussions with the coach.

Legacy Womens Football Club plans conduct showcase events across Pakistan in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Gilgit to identify and recruit promising players. These events will generate publicity for the club and provide trials for team selection. Selected players will undergo a comprehensive development program, with a focus on the technical, tactical, and physical aspects of the game. Regular assessments and feedback will be provided to help players reach their full potential.
